Best UK Holidays
As a former owner, having a holiday in a static caravan would probably rank close to the top of my list of best UK holidays. If you have not already experienced a holiday in one, this is a situation that you should rectify at the earliest opportunity. Most static caravans that are available for rental these days are superbly well appointed. The large majority will have central heating and double glazing, and you may find that this is quite useful, given the vagaries of the British weather!!
There are models in various sizes, with the larger ones sleeping up to eight people. There will be toilet and bath or shower facilities built in so no having to dash to the shower block in the middle of the night. Many modern static caravans have en suite facilities. Kitchen equipment in them is usually of a very high specification, and the designers have given a lot of thought to the lay-out of the caravan, resulting in a level of comfort and convenience that you would expect from a multi-star hotel.
Most modern static caravans offer sleeping accommodation to cover any family from just a couple up to eight family members. Typically, this would be in a double bed-room, up to two twin bedded rooms and extra sleeping facility provided via a pull out bed in the lounge. Then there is the entertainment equipment included in them. This frequently includes a large-screen television, possibly with satellite and DVD player. Often there will be facilities for playing music or just listening to the radio.
However, before you get into the static caravan, there is the little matter of where to go for it!! In fact, most of the UK’s coastal resorts, and many of the inland ones, have parks which offer an array of static caravans from which you may choose, so where-ever you decide to holiday you should be able to find a caravan park which will be convenient for you.
